Mack (my son's dog) continued to refuse to come in the house. So we left him out the other night. It got down to 39. I got home and let Pride play with him. 5 1/2 hours later I got up and went out with Pride and Mack was gone. He chewed through his harness, then dug under the fence. Oh well, we tried.
Today I am gonna sleep. Yesterday I had my dentures refit again. This is the last time before the permanent repair in two weeks.
Getting annoyed with the folks that work for me on my part time job. All these people begging for a job and I had 11 people not work (4 were scheduled off) out of 22. Geez. I have a few that tell me on their night off, if I need someone, call them. So, I called this one gal to come in the other night. She got there at 5:20 and left at 5:35. She was too emotional to work. Her boyfriend dumped her last week. And she still can't get over it. She is over 45 years old. I told her she won't be called in again.
I should have a decent showing tonight. Afterall, it is payday.

I got to sleep in today thanks to the State of NJ and jury duty, to which I don't have to report until 11 a.m. ;)
I am sorry to hear that your son's dog ran away, he probably was missing your son and stressed out by the whole situation, I hope he gets found and not hurt :(

Hello Carla and OFF family,
It's quiet right now at work but will pick up shortly.
I went to a new water class at the gym, it was in the PT pool and it was my first time in that pool, it's located on the other side of the gym where the spine center is. I went in early and worked out an hour in the reg. pool doing jogging, lunges and lifting weights.
Anyway this new class was Yoga/Pilates in the water. Much easier than land yoga/pilate's!! Good stretching and inner core stuff with working on your breathing. A lot of older gals were there along with one guy (27 people). Great class but I need more cardio. I'm going back to the "all out cardio water aerobics". Tonight after work it's spin class.
Going to lunch with my BFF this noon in Middlebury, Ind. and NO we aren't going to EssenHaus......way too much food there! She is leaving for Florida the first of next week and will stay down there at her brother's for a couple months.....lucky lady!
I'm feeling lots better about my foot surgery next Wed., especially when I found out I won't be having general anesthesia.....have a really hard time waking up from that. This will be a sedation type that puts me to sleep "lightly". Still don't have any idea how long the surgery will last, all the surgeon told me was "it's a long surgery". I'll have four 3-in*****isions - two on my foot and two on my lower leg.
I got the "roll-a-way" cart yesterday.....You put your knee and leg on this little cart with four wheels and a handle and away you go. Will use this while I can't put weight on my foot. My sister is coming to stay with me for five days to help out. I go back to the doc on the 25th and he will remove the splint and I will have to wear one of those lovely big black boot contraptions....I'm hoping he will say I can put some weight on the foot then.
Well I better get my oatmeal now, altho' I'm leaning toward an egg sandwich on whole grain english muffin....
